Ambassadors Committee

Chair: Dave Kilby, K2 Enterprises
Vice Chair: Jim Lindeneau, Lindeneau & Associates
Monthly Meetings: 1st Tuesday at Noon
Goal: To increase Chamber membership retention by promoting broader participation in Chamber and Community activities by all chamber members, and to create better understanding among members of all the benefits of their Chamber membership.
 Hold monthly Ambassador meetings at member restaurants to increase Chamber awareness.
 Work closely with Membership Committee to maximize gains in new members, member participation, New Member Luncheon attendance, and specifically member retention.
 Provide Chamber Staff and Board of Directors with member feedback and/or member concerns.
 Be pro-active about identifying and communicating issues facing the different geographic segments of our Chamber.
 Develop new networking opportunities, especially in the SE Quadrant of the Chamber service area (Summerwood/Fall Creek).
 Attend Chamber Ribbon Cuttings, Open Houses, and networking events such as member sponsored Networking Breakfasts, After Hours, and the Surprise Patrol. Continue the partnership with the Observer by attending the Networking Luncheons.
 Represent the Chamber at area festivals and parades, thus promoting visibility in the communities we serve.
 Host at least ten Networking Breakfasts each year, Quarterly After-Hours, and at least one networking function at one of the monthly Third Tuesday Luncheons each year, and provide greeters for each function.
 Be a positive force in the Chamber, actively participating and assuming a leadership role, along with appropriate committee members, for any proposed regional issue or concept.
 Promote “Member to Member” participation by more Chamber members.
 Develop a mentoring program for new Chamber members.
 Sponsor and support the advancement of the “IT” program and disperse funds appropriately.
 Be pro-active in striving to increase membership of Ambassador Committee.
