Our Purpose
The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of professional businessmen and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic
and commercial progress of our combined communities.
There are two primary functions of the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce:
• To act as the spokesperson for the business community and translate into action the group thinking of its membership.
• To provide specific services of a type that can be most effectively rendered by a community organization, both to its members and the community as a whole.
