Houston Mayor Annise Parker to Speak at September Chamber Luncheon - The luncheon is being presented by Houston City Council Member Mike Sullivan and will be held at 11:30 am, on Tuesday, September 21 at the Sheraton North Houston. Chamber Accepting Nominations for Citizen of the Year. This award recognizes selfless public service by an individual, performed by the recipient on his/her own time and not in the regular course of earning his/her living or advancing himself/herself professionally. Nomination Forms must be completed and received in the Chamber office no later than October 29, 2009. The award will be presented at the annual Chairman’s Ball on January 21, 2011.
