The Lake Houston Area Chamber recently won first place in the map division of the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executive’s media contest for their 2009 edition of the Humble Area Map. The Chamber competed against other chambers from across the state with budgets of more than $600,000. The map is a bi-annual publication of the Lake Houston Area Chamber. |

Lt. Governor David Dewhurst to Speak at August Chamber Luncheon - Dewhurst will speak at the Chamber’s Luncheon at 11:30 am, August 17 at Kingwood Country Club. The Luncheon is being presented by Clyde Electrical & Mechanical Construction. Dewhurst will speak to Chamber members and guests about what the legislature is doing to create jobs in Texas. Chamber To Host Discovery Day August 18 -
The Chamber is planning to host a new event, Discovery Day, on August 18. This new educational event presented by Jackson-Dean Investments, LLC, will be held quarterly and is designed to help educate members about the Chamber and help members learn how to best utilize their membership benefits. The hour-long session will begin at 10 am, August 18 at the Chamber office. |

Registration Now Open For Lake Houston 10k/5k - The Lake Houston 10K/5K & Wellness Fest, presented by Memorial Hermann Northeast is the Lake Houston Area Chamber’s community health and wellness event.
