Plans for the 19th Annual Chamber Golf Classic and Party on the Green Now Underway - The Annual Golf Classic, presented by Kingwood Medical Center, is the Lake Houston Area Chamber’s largest and most popular fundraiser of the year. The tournament will be held on Thursday, May 6 on the Forest and Island courses at Kingwood Country Club. Chamber Begins Search For New President - The Lake Houston Area Chamber recently began their search for a new president to take the place of Mike Byers who recently announced he’ll retire at the end of 2010. Byers announced his plans to retire at the August Board of Directors meeting. The board recently approved a Search Committee which will conduct a national search and will be lead by 2009 Chamber Chairman Jason Medley, a law partner with O'Donnell, Ferebee, Medley & Keiser, PC.
